The players began their warm-weather training schedule in Mallorca this morning at Real Mallorca’s training facility in Son Bibiloni.
The players strutted their stuff in the 15 degree heat while surrounded by a stand at one side and at all other corners were mountains.
Spirits seem to be high in the camp during training this morning after a team walk along the beach yesterday. The players loosened off by strentching before training. However, if any thought it would be an easy session they were wrong as the intesity was as high as ever.
Various drills followed the stretching and then the players participated in a small-sized competitive game using mini-goals. The focus of the practise was mainly on possession, pressing and short passing, although some impressive goals were scored. The Mallorca B side were on hand to watch the Blues in action and looked impressed by the skills on show.

Meanwhile, on the park behind Andre Villas-Boas and his side were the Mallorca first team who were preparing for their match against Athletic Balboa tomorow in the second leg of the Copa Del Rey. One of the players which was in this match preperation training was former Chelsea youth and reserve team player Sergio Tejera.

The creative midfielder has made nine  in La Liga for the Spanish side this year after making the switch to Spain in 2009. After catching up with some of his former team mates he took the time out to speak to the clubs official website.

‘I’m really happy to see all the team again,’ he smiled. ‘I always watch and hope everything goes well for them.
‘I saw Ryan Bertrand and Sam Hutchinson training before and it’s nice to see old friends that I left in England when I came back to Spain. I was talking with [fitness coach] Chris Jones after they finished and I was so happy to see him – and everyone.
‘It’s a very good pitch they are training on – it’s where the second team from Mallorca usually play their games.’

Andre Villas-Boas and his side will return to the camp tomorow and Thursday to train at the facility before flying home to England ahead of our match against Queens Park Rangers in the FA Cup fourth round tie at Loftus Road this weekend.
